Student Culture & Diversity: This will never be great for any school and acceptance seems to be pretty good however their is a lot of immature stuff that goes on that is typical. I don't see a lot of picking out anyone in particular because of sex or race however I myself have been challenged to defend someone who was in the right and being picked on.

Health & Safety: Safety is a concern of our school and they have updated policies and strengthened the system even within the last year...People are not allowed to just walk in and you must have your id on you as well as gates get locked and are monitored and security walks the premises. I do not worry about my safety on school as the administration is very informed of their jobs to keep us safe. My mom couldn't even leave the lobby during school hours and had to have her id.

Overall Experience: I am proud to be at DV and to have the opportunity to learn all that I have. I couldn't have done it all without the support of my teachers and friends at DV...could things always be greater absolutely but as far as what I see out there in schools today mine by far exceeds the standards

Food: Lunch is lunch they have a ton of variety from healthy to not healthy as well as I have been bringing my lunch all four years so what I see is different from what everyone else may taste. Seems to me that students are pretty happy with their picks.

Administration & Policies: DV is all around in tune and up to date on disciplinary policies and all around are consistent. We know what is expected of us and when we cross the line. The counselors are there to talk to and the principal is guiding students herself instead of sitting behind her desk.
