I am a senior at D. H. Conley High School in Greenville, North Carolina. This school has given me the chance to expand my knowledge within my future career interest and assure myself that this is what I hope to be. I have been able to do hands on projects, lead discussions and go beyond what I thought my capacity of learning was.

The thing I like best about this school is the wide selection of courses offered to students. Unfortunately, a class may be offered and a student signs up for that class and then finds out they are not offering the class that year.

This school also offers a RAP period during which students can be tutored by their peers or teachers in subjects they are struggling with. On the flip side, they have taken time away from lunch to pad this period with extra time and 20 minutes to get to lunch, eat, and return to class is just a bit too short.

My overall experience at DH Conley hasn't been the worst but it hasn't been the best either. The administration at my school is more worried about whether or not my shirt has a logo, if my shoes are untied, or if someone is wearing leggings than they are about my actual education.
