Dr. Phillips offers a huge variety of school clubs, organizations and sports. Some of the popular clubs and organizations are; BETA club, French club, Latin club, Eco-Action club, AVID club, Medical Academy, interact, Rho Kappa, Pep Squad, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, French Honor society, AF JROTC Honor Guard, Business Academy and plenty more. The most popular sports are football, baseball, basketball and soccer. My school has the best female basketball team ever! It is so amazing to see students participating in many different acitivities. Students give their 100% commitments. The most interesting after school activities at Dr. Phillips are ACT prep and FCAT prep.

Friday nights at the Bill Spoone Stadium of Dr Phillips High School is no event to be taken for granted during football season. Our football games have got to be the liveliest and most spirited of them all. Being in the marching band, I played at every single football game in the stands and during half-time for all four years of my high school career, and I loved every minute of it. The entire Dr. Phillips community comes to our football games, not only to watch our stellar team crush each of its rivals and to enjoy our creative half-time shows, but also to spend quality time with one another. And who can forget about the student section? Our seniors, along with the underclassmen, faculty, and staff bleed blue!

There are countless team sport options, so if some people aren't into band or football in the very least, I'm sure there's a different sport for them at the school. From volleyball to water polo, to cross country and weight-lifting, our strong athletics program has so much to offer.

There are so many people from different countries, and everyone is ethnically different. With 4,000 students, theres actually no peer pressure and no reason to fret about acceptance. Everyone knows that everyone is different and embraces that fact. The one thing all 4,000 students are almost identical in is school spirit. Every year on spirit week, all students participate! Its wonderful seeing everyone come together. Several times during lunch there are shows performed by the school band, theater group, and dance troupe. Dr.Phillips is vast, everyone is different and we love that about our school.
