Extracurriculars: There are a variety of clubs and athletics available at East. I do think that clubs could be better promoted in relevant classes.

Overall Experience: The culture at East is incredibly competitive to what I consider a detrimental degree. The pressure to take AP classes and get into a prestigious university is incredibly high, and this problem only seems to be getting worse.

Teachers: For the most part, the teachers at East were very helpful and approachable. There were a few, however, that came across to me as judgmental, disrespectful to students, or unqualified for their positions. Though I can't say these negative experiences were the norm, it was definitely common enough to be notable.
