Student Culture & Diversity: Everyone is mainly accepting. Of course, at every school, there are going to be those ignorant people who don't want to accept anything other than themselves. We do have areas for everyone to go if they are being bullied or discriminated. Every class room is a safe zone and we have various counselors and social workers that specialize in sexual orientation discrimination, peer pressure, race or any other sort of discrimination.

Academics: We have tutoring after school for everyone. Either you can go to Math Tutoring during lunch/study hall or after school and use the teachers or other students to help you. You can either go to the Testing Center to make up any tests you have missed. You can go to the tutoring programs offered on the different days to get help, or you can ask your teacher to help. The teachers are very helpful but if they can't help you, they can steer you in the direction of someone that can. For regular classes, the work load is very easy and manageable. For Honors/AP classes, it might take a little bit longer and may be a little bit tougher but you know what you're getting into because it's a harder class.

Extracurriculars: I honestly love the clubs at East. I was involved with the Athletic Trainer, I'm currently in NHS and I have many friends who are in clubs or sports or they're in both. My Junior year I got involved with this club called Operation Snowball and it is just life changing. It's an alcohol, tobacco, other drug and suicide prevention program. Everyone on your executive board is drug free and we're trying to clean up the East Aurora reputation and make policy changes to accomodate the newest drug/tobacco trends. The thing about East is that it's seen as such a dangerous place, everyone is always drinking/smoking/fighting but we're not. Negativity spreads faster than positivity, we're trying to change that though. Not a lot of kids at east do bad things, its just the ones who do are glorified and it's sickening. So Operation Snowball combats that and tries to create a safe and happy space for all of East's students.

Sports & Fitness: Everything honestly just depends on the sports. Our soccer teams are amazingly good and they have a pretty huge coaching staff, fan base and a big team. Our football team isn't very good and everyone always talks the players down , even the coaches but every home game the stands are mainly filled, so it confuses the players. The Cross Country team is amazing, both in their support and their runners. We're okay in basketball and we have pretty full houses for all home games. Our cheer leaders lack spirit but the varsity cheer's routines are amazing! The cheerleaders and the dance team always have dance offs during half times. I personally believe that our athletics would improve if the staff and students had more team spirit, but that's just how I feel.

Teachers: Nothing is perfect but the staff at East Aurora is very good! They mostly regularly update grades and assignments and are always free to help out, even if you have to rearrange things to get work done. They are all considerate and kind and genuinely are about their students and all of the students in our school. They want us to succeed and they'll pull all-nighters grading work, filling out recommendations or trying to help us with anything we need. They're honestly awesome!
