I honestly love the clubs at East. I was involved with the Athletic Trainer, I'm currently in NHS and I have many friends who are in clubs or sports or they're in both. My Junior year I got involved with this club called Operation Snowball and it is just life changing. It's an alcohol, tobacco, other drug and suicide prevention program. Everyone on your executive board is drug free and we're trying to clean up the East Aurora reputation and make policy changes to accomodate the newest drug/tobacco trends. The thing about East is that it's seen as such a dangerous place, everyone is always drinking/smoking/fighting but we're not. Negativity spreads faster than positivity, we're trying to change that though. Not a lot of kids at east do bad things, its just the ones who do are glorified and it's sickening. So Operation Snowball combats that and tries to create a safe and happy space for all of East's students.
