Health & Safety: There were frequent cases of threats and drug searches during my time at ECG. Students were all safe, but the administration could have taken more organized approaches to evacuating students and keeping them calm and together. The school is in a semi-dangerous area so cars are often vandalized and stolen from.

Overall Experience: The parents at this school are either extremely wealthy and able to offer their children the best opportunities, or they are low-income and are unable to provide for their children's basic needs. There is a great disparity between parenting at this school which makes it difficult to rate generally.

Teachers: There were a few outstanding teachers that I greatly appreciated during my time at E. C. Glass. But I also feel as though the great teachers were counterbalanced by ineffective teachers. If a student is on the AP track, he/she has a much better learning environment than those who do not, as those teachers can be more focused on academics than disciplinary action.
