Overall Experience: I have had a lot of great experiences with this school. As a cheerleader the games are always fun even if we do not win all the time. The homecoming dance is very fun as well. I would both choose this school and not choose to go to this school again. It is not a school big on school spirit and I would choose a school that is. I would choose a school that has regular pep rallies, more than two school dances, etc.

Teachers: The teachers at Eugene Ashley High School are all good teachers. It is easy to go up to them and talk to them about anything you need. They are all there to help you and want you to do your best and succeed.

Overall Experience: Academic wise with teachers I feel like I could've been helped more. I did indeed have a very hard English class, but that teacher was willing to work with me and believed that I was smarter than I thought. Something unique about this school is the Oceanography and Marine Science program. I was able to participate and be apart of the Ocean Science Quiz Bowl team. Also in this program I was able to take a trip to the Florida Keys! That has probably been my favorite experience besides playing Varsity Softball.

Teachers: The teachers aren't very engaging. Most you wouldn't say genuinely care about their students and aren't willing to do anything possible to help the students. If a student is struggling the student can't always get help from that teacher because their too busy or believe the student just needs to get it together on their own.

There are some who do genuinely care and are do help students out even if they aren't their students, but that is rare to have an understanding teacher.
