My daughter has excelled at this school. Academically and in extracurricular activities. They have had inconsistent administrative support but the current principal will be able to bring out the best in the school. There are a handful of teachers that need to improve or leave and that will help determine the future of Ashley HS.

I have had a lot of great experiences with this school. As a cheerleader the games are always fun even if we do not win all the time. The homecoming dance is very fun as well. I would both choose this school and not choose to go to this school again. It is not a school big on school spirit and I would choose a school that is. I would choose a school that has regular pep rallies, more than two school dances, etc.

Academic wise with teachers I feel like I could've been helped more. I did indeed have a very hard English class, but that teacher was willing to work with me and believed that I was smarter than I thought. Something unique about this school is the Oceanography and Marine Science program. I was able to participate and be apart of the Ocean Science Quiz Bowl team. Also in this program I was able to take a trip to the Florida Keys! That has probably been my favorite experience besides playing Varsity Softball.
