Health & Safety: Overall, the security guards (Safety) do their jobs well. Sometimes though they go overboard. For example, many security guards will stop students in the hall and give them a dentention, even though they are on their free period. Although they do go overboard, they keep the school safe.

Extracurriculars: There are numerous clubs and activities available at ETHS. For most of them, there are no prerequisites needed to join and if there are, they are usually very little and/or easily attainable. Some clubs include SOAR (Students Organized Against Racism), Best Buddies and Gay-Straight Alliance. Creating a club is relatively easy too. All you have to do is talk to the Activity Director and get a sponsor.
