Student Culture & Diversity: some students are not very accepting

Health & Safety: I never felt unsafe in this school, and a variety of safety drills were routinely conducted throughout my 12 years of learning there. Occasional bullying happened, but it usually occurred outside of school or on social media, so it was not very visible in the physical school itself. If it did occur on the property, teachers or even other students would usually intervene to stop it. In terms of health, if you ever felt unwell you were always able to go to the nurse's office, and were allowed to decide on your own if you felt that you needed to go home early. As such, I never felt that I was not in control of my wellbeing.

Extracurriculars: I always immensely enjoyed the extracurricular activities at this school, as they was always a myriad of programs and I was involved in many of them. They were varied and one could find a club related to almost any subject or cause that they were interested in. It was also relatively easy to participate in them as they were mostly held right after school and were a good balance between being active but not too demanding.

Teachers: Almost every teacher I ever had was genuinely interested in relaying knowledge to their students and was especially intent on preparing them for college. Thanks to the great lengths many of my teachers went to in order to provide comprehensible lessons for us students, I am actually still doing fairly well in my college courses despite my slightly hectic schedule.

Health & Safety: After the stabbing, the school went back to the tougher security measures they ditched under a previous superintendent. The new security measures allow for better trained on-campus security and more security cameras. They employed an independent school security trainer who had a lot of experience with other schools and law enforcement. We still do not have metal detectors but I am not complaining. I wouldn't feel any safer with them anyway. I have little experience with the school nurse but I did get a physical one time from them and it was very easy and comfortable for me.
