Health & Safety: We have police officers that are allowed to roam our school, to check for anything unsafe. Security cameras are all over the inside and outside of the school. Police officers sit outside our school to watch for fights, car theft, and children who smoke. Every time we have a fire drill they so a drug search, and every now and then they do car searches.

Extracurriculars: The extracurricular opportunities are endless at governor mifflin. We have so many sports and clubs it's crazy. I personally just bowl for our high school. They actually realize bowling is a sport, not many places do. We also have football, and gold and cheer leading and club ice hockey and so many more. Also for clubs we have language clubs, book clubs, harry potter clubs, anime clubs and so many more!

Overall Experience: This school is unique in my eyes because not every school has as many clubs and sports as we do. Our school also holds free physicals for those students who cant afford to go to the doctor for one. Our school has the best athletic environment I have seen in awhile. I would do my high school experience all over again because maybe I would personally get more involved in school than i am now.

Teachers: The teachers are well-rounded and very friendly. They understand students and assist them when possible. They get their lesson through with little to no extra explanation easy. I am a hands on learner so the teachers go out of the way to not only help me but others who are also only able to learn hands on, or learn by better explanation or just seeing it.

Health & Safety: The policies seem reasonable and are outlined for everyone. However, we have had instances where people have had access into the school by easily getting into other doors during the school day. We have had threats that were taken seriously and parents/students informed well. None of these were real threats but the action taken is successful. The health policies and school nurses are okay - I am not familiar enough with other school's policies to know if it is less than average.
