Academics: The academics offered were average in terms of the types of classes offered. The best classes were those offered through the honor program. The curriculum was more interesting in those classes, particularly the honors English department. I think the best teachers and experiences I had were from the English classes. The other teachers who taught more scientific subjects lacked enthusiasm for the most part.

Student Culture & Diversity: I think that the social scene was pretty ostracizing. Many of the students were more interested in partying, so it was somewhat difficult to find accepting peers. The overall environment amongst students was not particularly encouraging.

Extracurriculars: There are many options of clubs/ organizations to choose from. The school is supportive of students who want to organize new clubs. The teachers are supportive, considering that every club must have a mandatory faculty sponsor. I don't remember there being so many after-school activities. Most of the club meetings were held sometime during the day, from my experience. So, after-school activities were pretty limited.

Overall Experience: I would attend this school again simply because I think it provided me with a decent education. I think I left prepared for college. But I never felt comfortable in the school's social atmosphere. The students were pretty cliquey.

Teachers: I never thought that the social/ student environment was very friendly. The teachers involved in the honors program were especially enthusiastic and challenging/ encouraging.
