Teachers: All of the teachers I had at Grimsley were incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure students were engaged by the material and understand it. Many of the teachers spend more time at the school and working with the students and are more than willing to help students in any way they can.

Extracurriculars: While at Grimsley, I was involved in a variety of clubs and organizations. The student body can get involved with organizations ranging from sports to volunteer organizations. Being involved in the many organizations available helped me develop teamwork skills, leadership skills and helped me find passions that I did not know I had, which in turn led me to the political science major and Asian studies minor I chose at Carolina.

Educational Outcomes: After graduating, I chose to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Attending this school was one of the best decisions I made following high school. I am currently receiving a great education and real world experience. The education and experience I received from Grimsley High School has thoroughly prepared me for college by teaching me skills such as time management and analysis.

Overall Experience: I love, love, love Grimsley! There's plenty of diversity, great academics, and very few of the typical "High school" issues actually are a big deal here. I would absolutely choose Grimsley over again.
