I absolutely love my school. I get to go to school with my best friends and I like almost all of the teachers. They are great educators and expects high standards from each of their students. Our coaches also expect excellence on the court and in the classroom. We have a great counselor who handle all the school's testing, student education, and emotional needs. We are unique because even though we are small, we have a wide range of clubs and activities we can be in, and we always have at least three foreign exchange students at our school. I would definitely choose to go to Gunter High School again.

There are some teachers that aren't very likable, but it's the same with any other school; you've got your favorites and your not-so-favorite teachers. Overall, Gunter High School is an excellent school and I would highly recommend it to anyone who was wanting to move here. Our principal and our teachers genuinely care about the students and it shows.

I would like to see teachers care more about their students passing. I would like for there to be more diversity, right now the school rarely accepts transfers. I like how the school is really into sports but the academics need improvement. Some teachers work with you, some teachers don't care and don't even teach.
