Student Culture & Diversity: We live in a military town so there's a good mix of people ethnically. Harker heights high school has a very high number of LGBT students although sometimes the administration and teachers can be bigoted against it and sone races but what can you do? We're in the bible belt. It's the best place to be accepted in the area

Health & Safety: We're in a very good area so there's no need to worry but they don't exactly do much to make sure nothing happens

Extracurriculars: theres a good number of clubs but most of them are kind of hard to get into if youre not freinds with someone inside. we spend a lot of money on the sports program every year, nt a lot on prom (was pretty poor quality last year), and the theater department isnt as great as they like to boast they are. i highly recomend doing uil accademics for almost anything because we have some very great teams who get high in the competitions.

Overall Experience: the school is very involved in its sports programs but leaves out much for the other extracurricular.

Teachers: teachers can be great if you are in the upper level classes but lower level classes have teachers that just read out of the book and prepared powerpoints to the students. most coaches are also teachers because they have to be and they dont really care about their students beyond who is playing for them
