Academics: it's a pretty average school. we offer latin which all the other schools do not and have a wonderful calculus teacher but the science department is extremely underfunded

Extracurriculars: The extracurricular say Heights are AMAZING! There are a lot of diverse clubs and we are involved with whatever club we're in. One of the most popular clubs is Student Council, because it's open to all students and we are the representatives of the student body. The admin support us for the most part and the advisors for the clubs are very friendly.

Overall Experience: I love Harker Heights High School. The whole atmosphere whenever the spirit days come around is amazing and refreshing. What makes Harker Heights unique is the fact that a lot of the extracurricular activities are student led and teacher supervised. There isn't much conflict at the school so I would like to live it all over again. But I really want to graduate and not look back.

Teachers: The teachers at Harker Heights High School are pretty great! I have run into a few teachers that need to be evaluated more carefully, but overall the learning environment is top notch. One thing that Harker Heights High School teachers need to improve on is their motivation. If the teacher teaches and looks like they don't want to be at school, the students will most likely feel the same. Some teachers don't motivate their students as much as others because they don't take time to listen to their students and their background. Harker Heights High School overall is a GREAT school for higher learning and extracurricular activities.
