Henderson High School Reviews
Rating 3.91 out of 5 244 reviews
My best experience at Henderson High School has been connecting with the teachers. I have found around 5 teachers across my 3 years at this school that I feel I personally connect with and I have really enjoyed taking their classes and engaging in discussions with them. While I have also had teachers that were not my favorite, the teachers I love have made my experience so much richer. However, I believe that my school could do much better structurally. It is the oldest building in the district and this shows very prominently. A renovated courtyard and auditorium would do wonders to make it an even better school.
I had a great academic counselor that impacted my experience, and have heard mostly good things about mental health support. As with any high school, there's going to be people/teachers that are hard to deal with but in my experience the teachers were so kind and understanding for extenuating circumstances. There's a decent class selection and amt of participation in clubs.
This is my third year at Henderson High School. I personally enjoy attending this school, it offers a lot of academic opportunities and growth for learning. The clubs here are well run and offer community service hours which is convenient for a student like me where I need to start gaining hours for college applications. The teachers here are very helpful and incredibly smart. Henderson also offers excellent electives, such as Public speaking, journalism, human anatomy and understanding law. Overall Henderson High school is an amazing school and I'm very fortunate to have the ability to attend here.
