Overall Experience: Bob Gildea the superintendent is a horrible administrator as is most of the School Board. The HS principal Maureen Lechner is a puppet of Gildea. The security guard for the HS Wayne Bush should be jailed, a former cop (not a good one) thinks he still is a cop, has tackled kids and broken bones. These leaders as well as most of the board do not have an ounce of common sense between them. Hide behind closed doors, ban people from speaking at meetings if they do not like what they have to say and ban people from school property when they become a potential voice for the public. Get rid of these 3 plus 1/2 the board and you would have a great district again like we had with the past superintendent.

Overall Experience: HAHS is a great school. I had amazing experiences during my high school career. Experiences to point out would be Art Club, great teachers, and the student section. Being in art club felt like belonging to another family and we have back to the community with the "Empty Bowls" project. The teachers were always willing to help with scholastic & personal issues. The student section was like another family as well. Everyone always looked forward to Friday night football games. I would definitely choose this school again. The Golden Tigers walk with pride, do our best, and unite together. It is a great, safe place to learn.

Sports & Fitness: The athletes rule the school. The football games are well attended by friends and family of players and family of the marching band. We have nice things, just not very good teams.

Teachers: My band director had to be the best. He goes above and beyond the call of a director. He's almost like a foster parent to everyone; even those who aren't in music. He's constantly smiling and in a good mood, and makes everyone feel part of a family. My chemistry teacher though spelled my last name wrong in March.
