Overall Experience: I feel that my school has done a very good job in equiping me for the future. However, it is hard sometimes to try and achieve my goals of getting good grades when there are students in my classes who do not care at all about their grades. I obviously want to go to college and get a good job that I genuinely look forward to going to everyday and I know that in order to achieve that goal I must work hard in school and try to get good grades. Unfortunately there are some students who do not think that way. For the most part I love my school and I am very grateful for the opportunity to succeed in life because of what I am learning.

Administration & Policies: Huntsville is more lax on their rules than most schools. Although, when punishment is given, it is effective.

Sports & Fitness: School spirit is a very serious thing in Huntsville, for not only my school, but the other high schools around the area. The main support of students goes towards football. Very little students do not attend the games and everyone raves and dresses up for the pep rally's prior the game in school.

Teachers: In my experience, having moved around the country, the teachers at this school are excellent at what they do. They are all fairly approachable and have the same high expectations for every student, regardless of who the student is. The honors classes are challenging for an honors student while regular classes are equally as challenging for regular students. The teachers command the classroom in such a way that almost all students show respect for their teachers while in class. Most all teachers offer help after school as well, and/or allow makeup tests and other such things.

Extracurriculars: There's a large variety of clubs that students can take part in at my school. One of the best parts is a lot of the clubs are more "student led" with a teacher or other adult monitoring and helping where needed.
