Overall Experience: Overall, it's a hard school, but manageable, it prepares you for college (as I am realizing now). This school helps students become great women who plan to make a change. Incarnate Word teaches students to speak up and that it is perfectly okay to have different opinions and interests about many topics. Students here are challenged and supported by peers and faculty/staff. This school is also unique because it is an all-girls school. At first, I wasn't too sure about the "no boys" school, but I quickly fell in love with the idea of it. Being an all-girls school helps you focus more on school than relating and socializing with the opposite sex. Finally, I would not have wanted to graduate from any other school because the bond I created with my classmates aren't only considered my friends, but my "sisters".

Teachers: Teachers are very approachable. Mod schedule helps a lot, and doesn't require a student to go after school and look for help. Almost all teachers use technology in the classroom and also require to use technology outside classroom. Most teachers use PowerPoint, labs/hands and others write on boards to lecture class.

Health & Safety: This is an all-girls school. Through really the first few weeks of our freshman year, we begin to open up and let down our guards during the hours. We become a family. However, we are girls, full and thirsty for drama, so there have been a few instances of bullying and gossip and rumor, but they come and go like waves, and we mostly just lets them wash over. We carry on and build, break, rebuild, and strengthen bonds and ties to each other. The administration is very serious about our safety and health, constantly enforcing new rules, however they are for the greater good. For example, from the about twenty entrances and exits into and out of our school, during school hours, we are only permitted to utilizing about three of them for our safety, this took effect during my sophomore year. Additionally, we are neighbors of UIW, so campus police is rather abundant. Safety is key and strong here.
