Health & Safety: From what I've heard, the school nurse isn't accessible very often.

Teachers: Although some of the teachers here at Garfield High School may not be the most fun, they accomplish their goal of teaching while surpassing the curriculum.

Extracurriculars: The activities at Garfield at actually quite great, but I believe that if a student is willing to apply themselves they could conquer anything. Most people when they do join clubs they are super committed to the club will go out of their way to make sure it successful. you will find lots of administration help at Garfield by looking for it. Things aren't just going to be handed to you. For example I am part of this after school program at my school named Arc. Which has been really resources me a lot throughout my junior year, and it has also made me make close bonds with some amazing people. I believe the one whole can make high school is yourself.

Overall Experience: I believe this school is okay. I do not blame the teachers, i just believe the whole educational system is flawed. I've enjoyed the bonds I've made with some really great teachers. I would go to this school all over again to regain the experience and feel it once more. what makes this school is unique is the fact that it is almost 90 percent Hispanic populated. But overall the school is great just not the people in it.

Teachers: Teachers are qualified and seem to help students that are in need or that fall behind. Most teachers are very knowledge and interact with the students. I don't believe it is the fault of teacher if a student is unsuccessful in a class.
