Overall Experience: I like for school for everything it has. If you surround yourself around positive people and have good intentions, then you'll have a great outcome. That's just what i did, regardless of some of the problems and reviews this school gets; I feel that they not only want have a high percentage of graduating students but want everyone to succeed. Guidance counselors will help with the standardized testing registrations and scholarships. What makes this school unique is that its diverse, meeting know people and understanding know things is something amazing. These students are ones that you will spend 4 years with, they can even go with to college. My favorite experiences are the talent shows and assemblies when kids show who they are, even the ones that may seem weird but have a really cool talent. This year i was able to put together a leadership committee to talk to our principal about issues we wanted to address about the junior class> However, since me and my friends did it last minute when school was about to be over, not much was able to happen. We tried to get us to go to Lake Compounce around Jun 15, but all bus were booked for trips in other schools. We actually was able to do bake sales to receive money to put in our junior class of 2016 bank account. Allowing our senior-do's to not be so high, now that we are in summer we still have time and we plan on doing car washes, more bake sales and other things to help. The principal wants us to come back during our time in the summer to discuss what activities and events can take place the beginning of our senior year starting September 1 to Jun 18 when we are close to graduating. My experience only as a junior has helped me want to do more, so applying for scholarships, colleges and trying to get high SAT and ACT scores. I was able to receive several certificates and awards from the National Junior Honor society to the French Honor Society, these acknowledgments are actually what make me wants to do more for myself.

Overall Experience: Hillhouse is a terrible school especially for scholars. however, like anything in life it's all what you make of it and take from it. Some teachers & students are really great & they make the school so much better. But others are useless including administrators & deans!

Food: The food is not even eatable. And the salad bar be old and frozen!

Administration & Policies: Administration at Hillhouse sucks!! All of them are so useless, they don't really care about those inner city kids. At the end of the day they get into their nice cars & go back to their nice neighborhoods. None of them care!
