Educational Outcomes: I feel very prepared for college-level work- essays, balancing my time, thinking critically- because of the rigor of courses and the excellence that is expected. On the other hand, for practical life things, like what happens after you apply to college, I had to learn on my own. Moreover, the whiteness and South Tulsa culture of Jenks is very unlike the rest of the world, although I don't think anyone is to blame for that.

Overall Experience: The funding and quality of programs, as well as the general expectation of excellence sets Jenks apart. However it is a very conservative school that focuses on football and cliques too much.

Administration & Policies: The dress code/enforcement unfairly targets female students.

Sports & Fitness: "In Oklahoma 6A sports, you either hate Jenks or you go to Jenks" I will say though that the footballmania can be detrimental to other programs.

Teachers: Compared to other schools, teachers expect more out of their students and are generally of a higher caliber. That being said, there are some less than good teachers that either don't care about what they're teaching or are not as qualified as they could be- but that is uncommon.
