Extracurriculars: Some extracurricular offerings are before school and others are taken as electives. There are a lot of clubs, but getting up early to go can get annoying. There are not many extracurriculars offered (aside from art, music, debate, etc.) until junior and senior, so choices are restricted, especially in the lower grades. Overall, focus is mainly on the five core classes, but it is easy to get involved in the extracurriculars.

Overall Experience: School is hard and it can be difficult to balance sports, homework, studying, clubs, activities, friendships, and being social. There is really not much time for things outside of school and that is difficult. I love the atmosphere, however. Everyone is open and accepting and it feels like a community. I know I am getting a world-class education and the promise of a good college and job are my motivation.

Teachers: Teachers are some of the most knowledgeable, intelligent people I know. They really care and are willing to spend their time outside of class to make sure you understand. While there are some teachers I wouldn't recommend, a vast majority of the teachers go above and beyond, consistently.

Health & Safety: The sudents are first and foremost kind. The health program is excellent, and the school takes keeping the children away from alcohol and drugs seriously. The parent body is also engaged with meetings in eighth and ninth grade I'm group conversations about alcohol and drugs. The school actively discouraged parents from having parties with alcohol and will talk to parents who permit it.
