Overall Experience: I love going to Katy High School, everybody there are encouraging and very supportive. Teachers, Upperclassmen, and Counselors help out all students that are trying to reach there goals and make even better ones once they leave. My favorite experience at Katy High was the Special Needs Rodeo, I attend with Katy FFA from 8am - 2:35pm it is an event that we host every year for the speical ed kids to enjoy horse and mechanical bull riding, face painting, and many more teachers and students help out through out the day and we finish off with pizza and a nice cup of lemonade. The one thing the makes Katy High School so unique is the fact that all the teachers, PTO members, and students make it that way. Creativity, participation, and attendance can make your next four years worth while. I would recommend any upcoming freshmen to attend Katy because at Katy we are a family and one way or another we take care of each other no matter the circumstances and have fun while doing it.

Teachers: All of the teachers at Katy High School are very engaged with the students with everything that we are involved in. When walking into the classrooms you can see how the teachers incorporate technology and real-world situations when teaching the students. All subjects are very interesting and all take time to grasp, but the students and teachers never give up and always find a way to figure it out. Every student has there strong suit in certain subjects but at Katy there is all types of subjects and extracurricular classes that every student will find engaging. Grading processes are very neat and technological, students have there own account and other resources to check there grades, attendance, and upcoming test and quizzes. All Teachers notify there students on updated grade changes and new grades being put in the grade book, but over all communication from the teachers to students about grades are excellent.
