I feel like I've been cheated of my education from all the time wasted in class. My teacher left the other day to go to the bank! When he got back we had 17 minutes left in class, then he answered his phone when trying to explain something to us. The counsellors are fantastic at their job if you can get past the watchdog. School spirit is dead. Died with whatever is making that horrible stinch in the history wing. The only skills learned at KHS are those of physical talents and trickery. The most funded organization at this school is football, and all the strict rules teach kids to be sneaky.

There are not that many good extracurricular activities at Kilgore High School. The ones we did have where OK, but if it was not football, the school did not really want it. I played softball for 2 years, and are filed was crap, are stuff was broken a lot. My senior year we finally got art, and I loved the class but the budget cuts do to the new out door gym for the football guys, killed the supplies for the class. We did not have a girls weight lifting team which was wrong!

KHS! School of greatness. There is A lot you can say about this school. High caliber education, school spirit out of this world, and one of the best sports programs in Texas. There is nothing more than greatness about this school.
