Overall Experience: The students that make up this school are all above average and the teachers teach according to that principle.

Overall Experience: I like the big student population & student social life. I think most teachers are good & traffic isn't bad depending on where your spot is. I think the attendance policy, how you have to make up time, is ridiculous.

Overall Experience: The school's greatness is defined by a few teachers. Everything else is disappointing, as most of the problems stem from the administration's deafness towards the needs of both students and teachers. Only a few families are really involved.

However, if you can find one of the good teachers (particularly in either Physics or History), you can learn a lot and really excel.

Overall Experience: I transferred to Lake Norman High School from Mooresville High School in the middle of the second semester of my sophomore year. Just as any student would be, I was very nervous to start at a new school with all new people. My first week was hard, because I didn't know anyone, except for two girls from my religious school (but they weren't in any of my classes). Towards the end of my first week, I already felt extremely welcomed and all in all, happy. I did not like my previous school for many reasons, so it would've been hard to feel the same about LNHS. The teachers were all so nice and most of the students were as well. There is a good variety of students that go to LNHS, which makes it special and easy to find a group of friends. I am so happy I transferred there!
