Lakeside High School Reviews

Lakeside High presents it's students the opportunity to do great things if they wish so. If you're interested in doing great things with sports, Lakeside offers facilities and games for several sports. If you're interested in doing great things with academics, Lakeside makes it easy to do that with it's 20+ AP courses, IB programs. If you just want to chill, Lakeside also has so many clubs and organizations that can help you build connections with like-minded people or just have fun.
While Lakeside is great in a few things, it is sadly not in many areas. Most of it's facilities are outdated. The C.R.s are... a dice roll. You may find people vaping and idling to not get to class (they get suspended when caught, still doesn't stop some). As a student, you may also find yourself in classes with other students that are apathetic and disrespectful.
All typical high school shenanigans, but even then, Lakeside still brings a positive learning environment for its students. Panther Pride!

I have loved most of my teacher, they have always been supportive and caring. At Lakeside High School, they care about your education and want u to succeed. They do an amazing job of trying to make school activities fun, and entertaining for everyone. They try to include any aspect of school like, sports, music, and kids that aren't even involved with anything. Honestly I think the worst part is the contraction that they are starting in the middle of the second semester. It is an inconvenience for many students because everyday they have to walk up to the school which is about half a mile instead of saving the construction until the summer. At the beginning go this year we did have a close parking lot expect this year. But overall lakeside high school has been a great school to increase my knowledge and get me involved.
The Lakeside experience is loving, efficient, and leads to success. With over 2,000 students one will find that Lakeside's student body is a diverse group of students not only in ethnicity but past experience and personality. Unlike many schools Lakeside is mostly without cliques, every student tends to have many different kinds of friends. This boiling pot sort of effect fosters great academia as many students will use their strengths to help who ever needs it. The staff at Lakeside is also very helping and communitive, students find the teachers and administrators very approachable, I found this very scholarship from a counselor, All of these great facets of Lakeside lead to the ultimate goal of all of it's students, success. Along with offering many AP classes and being the only school in the county with the International Baccalaureate pathway, Lakeside has the highest standardized test scores in the county. Lakeside is also receiving an overhaul of renovations in the new year.
