The school itself is absolutely incredible. The resources are endless, teachers are generally pretty good, the campus is huge and beautiful, and there are plenty of amazing organizations and events that students can be a part of. Pages on this survey talked about the student body and parent involvement so let me just say that it is completely dependent on which students and parents you are dealing with. Are there amazing students with kind parents who help support booster programs and clubs? Absolutely. Are there also students who are snobbish and parents who believe that there child is the school's number one priority and all grading and disciplinary policies should be changed to suit their needs? Yepp. Don't believe everything you see on the media about us either. Honestly, it's one of the nicest schools that my family has ever seen. My siblings and I went to much worse schools with a lot bigger problems, but because this school is in a better area, all of its problems are thrown on the news. Now, I'm not saying we don't experience some issues here (like every public school in America, ever), but those problems are definitely occasional events which don't reflect the day to day safety or environment of the school.
