From what I can compare to among other schools by other teachers and visitors word or mouth, is that our school is very well taken care of and so are its students and staff inside of it. At Los Osos High School it is very difficult to leave and get onto the campus during school hours because our security guards ensure that all the gates to our school are very well locked and our teachers make sure that their doors get locked automatically if ever there were to be an emergency situation.

Our janitors and custodians make sure that our safety is their number one priority as well. They make sure that our school is cleaned regularly by completing daily, weekly and monthly duties. This includes washing our quad keeping it free and clean from anything that may spill on it and cleaning our classrooms and hallways regularly so that it will be a healthy and safe environment free from germs and any little allergies or illness that could possibly be lingering around from students. Which also is similar to the nurses job. If someone were to feel ill or get hurt, the nurses do an extraordinary job of making sure that our students remain strong and healthy.

My school does an extremely good job at keeping our schools environment clean and healthy for all students. No doubt about it!

Overall, Los Osos High School is the best! I couldn't imagine attending any other school. It has become my home. My school has an incredibly safe environment which makes it easier for anyone to like it. I mean why wouldn't you want to be knowledgeable about your safety; a place where you'll spent 6 plus or so hours a day for the next four years.

At Los Osos students, parents and faculty can expect the best out of each other. Everyone is every welcoming and engaging which is extremely important when you're making new connections with those at your school. Everyone works together to ensure proper success for not only the study dents but the staff as well so they may achieve an understanding of their teachings with the students.

The list can go on forever but in a nutshell, Los Osos High School is the most rewarding school any adolescent would dream about attending. It's the total package! You got your star athletic teams and athletes who are excellent scholars as well. Not to mention the arts and performing groups that make is seem as if you we watching the actual performers from the Phantom of the Opera. Also, the outstanding faculty that is very complying and not only helps us on our journey to college and complete our dreams but also watch out for each and everyone of us so that we are guaranteed safety. I Love my school and wouldn't change it for any other in the world! It saddens me now that I have to part from it because of my attendance to my University but I wish everyday that it could magically become just like my school now and give me the same feelings of comfort and happiness I still have now; who knows, maybe I'll get lucky. As of now, all I know is that blue and gold will remain to be my school colors for a long time.

I am beyond thankful for all the opportunities my school has given me and can't wait to put all the skills to the test, that everyone has taught me. I am ready for my future to begin!

-Thank you Los Osos High School!

I love Los Osos's emphasis on academics and our spirit. We may not have the best sports team, but we definitely do have camaraderie and school spirit. ASB and Renaissance dedicates lots of time to make posters and involve the students. On the other hand, I do wish that the prom, homecoming, and winter-bash courts were more diverse not only by ethnicity, but by non-ASB students (the latter are the only ones represented). Academic-wise, I find our science department very lacking not only by facilities (not a single, true science lab) but by materials. Other subjects have more-qualified teachers, too. Yet all subjects have immense amounts of homework given by AP teachers, who never fail to continue to push us mentally.
