Extracurriculars: I was involved in many extracurricular activities, so believe me when I say that there is definitely something for everybody! I was a multi-sport Varsity athlete, a member of both award-winning show choirs (although that is a co-curricular activity), as well as a participating member and/or leader in several honor societies and Beta club.

Overall Experience: Manchester is honestly a hidden gem in Chesterfield County. Many choose to overlook its exceptional faculty and friendly student body, but those who are involved with the school can confirm that it is an amazing place and would gladly return. That is likely the reason why so many of the faculty are also Manchester alumni. I've made lasting friendships and have learned many valuable life lessons at this school, on its fields, and on its stage. Manchester has allowed me to meet those who I would have never met otherwise, and has forced me to open my mind to new experiences. For that, I am eternally grateful.

Teachers: I personally have had an amazing experience at Manchester. Fortunately for me, all of my teachers have been extremely dedicated and willing to help their students. However, I do know that there are many students at the school who are not willing to ask teachers for help, or simply do not care. It is at this point where the teacher/student interaction digresses. My teachers have all been willing to help because I have always been engaged and willing to approach them for help. They do not know that you want help unless you ask. All of the teachers do want what's best for their students, though.
