Teachers: Teachers, at least the one'es I've had, are amazing. They are all very kind and helpful anytime I need them.

Extracurriculars: The rating for extracurricular activities at Meade High School is okay because clubs and sports are very organized but not very involved, excluding sports. Many of the clubs do not do much aside from talk within themselves, which is not bad, though I believe they should be more involved in activities outside of school.

Overall Experience: My experience with this school is ok. Wish it had more of a high school air to it. Don't want to be known as the ghetto school and full with black people because there are some good times that you can have at this school but everyone always looks at this school as a bad school where everyone is always fighting and getting in trouble. I don't want that to always be the message our school sends out to incoming students and their families

Food: The only thing i'll pay to eat is the fries and the tacos and bags of chips. The food there is nasty either its not cooked all the way or just tastes nasty. There's not much variety for healthy foods or for people with different dietary needs. The salads sometimes have the spicy chicken sandwiches cut up and put in the salad bowls which kind of defeats the purpose of it being vegetarian item. Not a lot of kids actually eat lunchor the snacks at school, they either bring their lunches or wait till they get home and eat or go to the school store at the end of the day and purchase cupsof noodles, gatorades, slim jims, and all other things too.

Administration & Policies: There are a lot of kids that go to our school who smoke weed all the time and yes they do it while they are in school because they just don't care. The administrators know this but they cant really take action on this. There are also some violence in our school theres fights a lot. The guidance counselors can be helpful but sometimes it takes a long time to meet with the guidance counselor to talk about certain issues. The principal is really cool hes always trying to find a way to make our school a better place and likes too interact with the kids as much as possible.
