Medomak Valley High School Reviews
Rating 3.53 out of 5 34 reviews
I have enjoyed my time at Medomak Valley High School. Faculty ranged from inspiring and excellent to average, in my opinion. All teachers seemed to care for their students. The theater and music program was a lifesaver for me, with dedicated teachers and volunteers supporting students like myself who did not play sports and needed a creative and social outlet. Administration was average. School spirit is fairly strong, and parent involvement also is likely above average. Once I graduate in June, I hope to return to support the drama department. Thank you.
The best part of Medomak Valley high school is the community. Everybody knows everybody and it’s really easy to get along with people because you all grew up together from such a young age I went to the same schools. I see another good part of Medomak Valley is the sports programs. our teams are always in contention for the state title every year we’re always good, I will say one of the worst parts about Medomak is the drug problem that runs through the school we can’t really have bathrooms open at certain times because people vape there all day and it’s kind of inconvenient for students like me who aren’t vaping and I have to walk to the other end of the school to use the bathroom.
Medomak was a school that I would call average. I definitely had good times, but a lot of bad as well. I would like to see the school take more responsibility for making mistakes, and not just hear students, but listen to them. Additionally, the school has dealt with many issues regarding facilities. I think they need to put money towards fixing the water issues and making the building clean, rather than using it to redo things that were already fine. The gym was redone last year and it was probably the best section of the building. Although sports are taken much too seriously for them to not put money towards that. There are a few teachers who I spent a lot of time with at Medomak, though, and they were the lights inside of the darkness. For instance, Mrs. Holland, Mr. Forest, Ms. Ennamorati, Ms. Rogers, and Ms. Butler.
