Overall Experience: It is a good school but it is hard to make friends if you do not start as a freshman.

Overall Experience: I love MIHS! It's such a spirited environment and it's such a fun school to attend for sports games, assemblies and events. The people can be rather cliquey and the fact that many affluent people live in the area can make it hard for families with lesser incomes to find places to "fit in". The pressure to drugs and party is quite prevalent, seeing as those who "party" seem to be the "cool" kids. Overall, the advanced and AP courses are quite rigorous and challenging. The normal classes can vary in level of difficulty based on which teacher you have.

Overall Experience: There is a mixed feeling going here. I am able to go to school happily and enjoy school, because i am surrounded by many friends that make school fun for me. I learn easily and remember information from teachers quickly, so i do not stress out about test and finals. I know many people have a hard time at our school because the cannot make friends or cannot understand what is happening in class, which is why i rated this school "its okay". i feel like the teachers and administrators should put more effort in helping struggling students get though and enjoy highschool life, because it is once in a life time.

Food: The food is very good, if you love carbs and do not plan on losing any weight or do not have any allergies. The school mainly has high fat and carb foods, such as pizza, pasta, bagels, chips, and cookies. there is not a big option for people with restricted diets and allergies. the school only has a few boxes of salads that do not taste like anything. the only thing healthy i see is the small boxes of fruits. if you are low income or do not have a lot of money for lunch, good luck. the school lunch cost is outrageous.
