This really depends on the teacher. I'd say for the most part, yes. Most teachers genuinely care about their students. I have had several that have given up their time to help me with other classes other than the core curriculum that they teach. Other teachers, in my experience, do not answer questions to full extent. I have been left still not knowing the answer to my questions. I also see a lot of lecture based style learning in AP classes. Yes, I know they are "college" classes, but I also know we are still in high school and believe that lecture style isn't as effective as other ways of learning. I feel like it's a more lazy way to "teach". Not all students grasp the concepts at hand. I often find myself using other resources and asking more unanswered questions from other resources to help teach the subject to myself.
