Overall Experience: Both my children did very well in the school. My son had problems with the math teacher for 2 years. He loved his 9th grade teacher and she was very difficult. After he got the 10th & 11th grade teacher; he realized how great the 9th grade teacher truly was and she was very passionate about students learning and when they completed the class; they learned what they needed to for the next level.

Overall Experience: So far, My three years at Middletown High school were dull and hard. Teachers say they are there for you but really are not. Its hard to pay attention in class with a teacher that is very old and not understanding. The teachers don't break the subjects down far enough. But the students are the ones that mainly make it worth the while.

Overall Experience: Middletown wasn't a bad school at all. The school aspect got repetitive, some teachers didn't care much about the students and the food was just about edible but the student body was great, the overall academics was great and for the most part I had a fun 4 years.

Extracurriculars: Middletown High School extracurricular opportunities are great, they provide extra help for students after school if needed. They also are great supporters of all activities and clubs such as Student council, Best buddies or even sports like basketball, football, swimming and cheer-leading. None of our kids are left out, there is a place for everyone. Most of our students have much fun playing sports and there is a strong vibe a sportsmanship and team work.

Health & Safety: We have an assembly just for our students that are exposed to drugs or knows someone who does drugs so that our students know the consequences and actions that they are taking part in if they chose to do them. Also how they can affect them physically and mentally. Bullying is addressed at our school but is almost never displayed. We have a fire drill every month and a lock down drill twice a year in case of emergency. Our school is very safe and everyone's life is important.
