Academics: The teachers are very kind and care about your education just as much as you or more. They want the best of you and work extremely hard to help you get a 5 on any AP test that one may take. They push for students to get involved in AP classes but they do no force them to do annything. Especially if they know that are not ready for something like moving into an AP class. For the most part teachers give a reasonable amount of homework and as students get closer to their senior year they do try to give more homework to help prepare them for the work load that they will be faced with for college so it doesn't come as a shock. This school offer alot of study options. There is before and after school that students can get help from teachers and there is at lunch that they could get help. There is a program that students can sign up for and they could receive peer help. At this school the most popular classes are the Ap classes because they offer so much if students get A's, B's and C's in the class and can pass the Ap Test with a 3 or higher. Some of the rewards are scholarships and being able to skip certain classes in college. Not only that the school trys to reward students also with cool prizes and awards.

Student Culture & Diversity: Over half of the students are involved in one of more academic clubs and/or sports. Even when it comes to scholarships and recommendation letters the students are always fighting to get the best scholarships and other amazing opportunities in life. The type of part pressure at this school is positive peer pressure to help each other with the best choices in life. Such as going to honor colleges instead of a normal college or going out of state or to a top nationally recognized school. For the most part everyone is accepting of other and over the years this school has become very diversed. There are absolutely no racism or discrimination at all and there is a no tolerance policy. We accept evryone including gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders. We even have a club for them.
