Overall Experience: Throughout my highschool career, I have heard teachers tell their students that they will not make it. When someone is told that they will not make it, it makes them believe that. We have had many assemblies about Muhlenberg High School being a no bully zone, which i believe is completely untrue. I had multiple frieds who were made fun of because of their clothes, shoes, hair, smell etc., I dont find muhlenberg to be the best of schools. I had withdrawled from Muhlenberg High School because I felt like I wasnt gettting the education I needed. I needed much more one on one time with teachers in or for me to understand things and I was not receiving that special help. Also I felt very left out, and uncomfortable. I no longer wanted to go to Muhlenberg which is why I dropped out and recieved my GED.

Overall Experience: My physics teacher didn't care whether or not you passed his class. He acted as if it was not his problem. Administrators did not care about bullying as much as they claim they did. Ctc students were left out of everything, and at one point, the school tried to convince us students at ctc to drop our program completely. Students are taught to body shame. More students would rather swear at the teachers, cheat, and not do anything at all rather than actually get an education.

Food: Looking back as a vegetarian, the options for students that did not want the main course or the alternative lunch had very little alternative options. With pizza and buttered noodles twice a week, no wonder our children are getting diabetes. And that's not to say about those that got an extra helping of pizza or noodles! When Obama got elected into office I started to realize the change in our school lunches; students had to start to take two servings of fruit and a vegetable with every meal. Soon, pizza began to be served with kale chips instead of noodles and students were furious. I think it would be important to educate kids about healthy eating patterns to a fuller extent, seeing as though Muhlenberg did not have proper dietary education services.

Administration & Policies: One of the things that annoys me the most about Muhlenberg is the "dress code". Young women are taught to body-shame, not being able to show any shoulders, not too much leg, and conservative tops. When I was 16, administration attempted to ban jeans with any holes in them. Any student that was seen wearing jeans with the slightest tear in them was sent to the office. If the student did not have proper clothes to change into, they were sent home, denying the student of their education. After a few weeks of this new dress code policy, students were still wearing ripped jeans and there were too many kids to send home on a daily basis, so the code was unimplemented.

Sports & Fitness: When it comes to sports, Muhlenberg has a decent reputation in a few areas. With a brand new football field and track, students that had never participated in sports before decided to join a team. Athletics is taken pretty seriously by the students and peers; Friday night football games and weeknight volleyball drew dozens of people to spectate. Although, football players were given somewhat of a special treatment when it came to academics.
