Overall high school did not prepare me enough for college and the "real world" but it did help to make a smoother transition into college classes. Although high school was nothing compared to the challenging college courses. I believe high schools should teach students more about the real world. Like how to do your taxes, pay bills, and banking information, also more scholarship opportunities. I think it could of provided more information on the colleges that students were looking at. Also schools need to provide more information regarding students who can't pay for college. They need to teach you how financial aid works and how much interest you are going to gain. How to apply for financial aid and maybe teach the students how to determine how much debt they're digging themselves into.
