New Hope High School Reviews
Rating 3.65 out of 5 81 reviews
I only attended New hope High School for two years. My junior and senior year, I had transferred from a much larger high school in the city. When I started my first year at New hope I thought I would have been way more scared then I actually was. However, the staff and the students were actually quite helpful when I needed directions or answers about anything. This made me feel very good about the school. However, as my senior year was beginning and I had a lot more questions about college, finances, scholarships, and classes; my counselors weren't as helpful as they were in the beginning. So I ended up having to navigate my way through my senior year by myself which was manageable, but I wish my counselors helped me the same way they helped other students. Overall, New Hope High School is friendlier, cleaner, and more manageable then other schools, but they could definitely still improve in helping every student.
New Hope is a great school. All the teachers and staff are very caring and helpful. You can get help with just about anything you need.
A lot of the students are mean if you don't fit in with the "popular" students and/or if you don't play sports. The school is very bad at addressing issues like bullying.
