Newport High School has many different clubs, including, but not limited to: Bible club, HOSA, FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, Yearbook, Art Club, National Honors Society, and the Academic Honors Committee. Our biggest club is FFA, followed closely with HOSA and FBLA. Club members become a family through fun activities and competitions we attend. The administration is very supportive, especially of FFA. We are said to have the most advanced agricultural program in the country.

I have a handful of teachers who really did inspire me to work my very hardest. However, Newport High School is known to have teachers who don't like to do their job or slack off. I often find myself frustrated because I am not receiving an adequate education. I for one love to learn, and being in a school that doesn't take my needs seriously really does aggravate me.

My teachers are very interactive and interesting in the classroom, and very helpful and friendly outside of the classroom.
