The school itself is alright. Lots of unfortunate fights, some teachers being horrible, and all. But, uh, besides that, its alright. I remember one Halloween where we got to wear our costumes to school, it was nice. Someone even yelled "HOMESTUCK!" when they saw that I was dressed as a Homestuck character. So, um, yeah. It was alright I guess.
The most challenging dilemma that North County High faces, is the student vaping and skipping. Implementing smoke detectors within bathrooms, and being more diligent on students roaming hallways will take off a lot of the indirect stress placed on performing students.
I had moved from prince georges county to anne arundel. I started coming to North County in my second year of high school. It was a dramatic change for me. Everyone here got along, everyone offered a hand to those in need. It was different than what was at my last school.
At North County we are offered many opportunities to be involved with the school whether that’s campus clean ups, donating to organizations that students create or being involved in a small club. North County offers many opportunities to students.
Every school has their bad sides and I believe one of North County bad parts in how sometimes the hallways will smell like weed which isn’t hopefully for those students who want to come in learn. I believe what they can do to improve the school more is to give detention to those who smell of weed.
I believe that the smell of weed affects people in our school because some people may have ptsd from it or some people may be allergic
