When I was a student at Northeast High School, I was part of their Magnet program and I honestly liked it a lot! All of the teachers worked really hard to teach us and I have made so many friends that still stuck with me through my first year of college. If you are considering going to Northeast, I recommend joining the Magnet Program!

Northeast High School is great because it offers many different programs for students. I was in the AVID program. The AVID program is amazing, but I can't speak for all of the other programs. AVID has lots of resources to practice our studies. Okay, now the bad. We have no school spirit. The administration doesn't allow student to love our school. They don't allow the sports teams wear their hard earned championship jackets. We are not allowed to wear the designed black long sleeve shirts, the ones that sport teams and programs design and sell to the students to fundraise, over our uniforms. We the students want to represent our school. The only time the principle talks to the students is to yell at us about the uniform policy. The only thing that the administration cares about is making sure we're in proper uniform. There is a separate boys and girls entrance into both the school and the lunchroom. If I was a non binary or a transgender student, I would not feel welcome.

Northeast High School offers tons of different extracurricular activities to help every student spend sometime after school and make new friends. They could go into the yearbook club and AV club for those who enjoy computers, they could go to the orchestra, band, or choir for those who are into music, or one can choose a club that represents them in some way like the ASA (Asian Student Association), the christian club, the MSA (Muslim Student Association, or Latinos Unidos. There are alot more clubs that specialize in different things like the Ping-pong club.
