Overall Experience: It may not be the best, and i may complain a lot, but ive loved my experience at this school. I've met a lot of really amazing friends here. Ive met amazing teachers here. There are lots of class opportunities, at least for the field i want to be in. Almost everyone gets along, there's rarely incidents of fights any more. You have your druggies and people that just don't care, but theyre still great people. If my school was as prestigious as the others, those people wouldn't be here. Nearly every teacher ive had has shown interest in my future. They care about how i do in class, how i do at home. I can't say the same for my counselors or administrators. That must be because i try and stay out of the office though. I have a very varying opinion of Northridge, but i would never give it up.

Food: I personally don't like cafeteria food. I feel like alot of people that work in there are just slapping stuff on plates. I know alot of people that like it, i guess i just have higher standards. That, and it's not too hard for me to provide my own lunch. But by what i do know of the food, it's not very good.

Administration & Policies: I hate our administrative team. Every good person we've had has left of been fired (sound familiar?). They don't care about the students unless you're in the office every other day. I had to pay testing fines and got told to "come back at a better time" because they had to eat lunch, after i had been waiting for them to come back to the office for at least 30 minutes. I can't tell you the last time my counselor was concerned for me, except when i had to email her about said test fines. Don't get me wrong, some are pretty okay. But even from the nicer ones, i get stuck up attitudes or the feeling like you're not important enough.

Sports & Fitness: I'm not the sportsy type. I was in marching band 2 years, but that's all. Our football field is great compared to what i see at other high schools. We have an actual 'stadium', not just bleachers. The track runs around our football field, giving officials a nice center area during our meets. I've never been in the locker rooms, nor have i ever used sports equipment, so I am not fit to judge those aspects. We don't have any type of pool, we use the city's rec center.

Teachers: Luckily, I've always had great teachers here. I can't say every teacher in the school is amazing, because I do have friends and they will occasionally sub for fellow teachers and the like. But generally, I've never had a problem with any teachers I've had. They all are adequate with technology and power points and videos and technology are a aprt of every class. My teachers, particularly social studies, are always connecting to real world events. The whole 'dress' incident was rediculous, but my psychology teacher added it into his lesson as a way of explaining how different people observe things. My physics teacher always uses real-world examples of what physics can help for you in life.
