Overall Experience: Good for a public school, one of the best in the state. Everyone that lives here basically comes for the school district. There is a good variety of classes to choose from and adequate resources. It is on the competitive side.

Overall Experience: The administration has gone so down hill, all of the good teachers left. This school is so driven by test results that I feel like those are all the teachers/administrators care about. The counsellors are absolutely useless at doing anything other than explaining college applications. If you're an average student, do all of your work, but you're still not the smartest, teachers aren't willing to help those students. I had one teacher that went the whole year without learning my name; when I asked h if he knew it, he called me "poopy head". I once had a teacher shoot staples at a kid's face. The teachers don't actually teach because they all know that all of the students just go to tutoring anyways. They call themselves a "school of excellence", but there's nothing excellent about feeling like your teachers don't care about your success. They only care about the students that have the potential to get into Ivy Leagues. And what did I get for all of this fun? Severe anxiety and depression! And when my parents tried to schedule a meeting with my teachers to discuss what can be done, only 3 of my 6 teachers showed up. They just don't care about the well being of their students.

Overall Experience: It's a great way to prepare for college. It challenges you mentally to go above and beyond what you are doing and what you are learning

Overall Experience: Good academics, really does prepare you for college (at least compared to other high schools), nothing is handed to you. However, very very competitive, effectively treads on the students who aren't in the top tier - promotes low self-esteem and high levels of comparison.
