Northwest Christian Schools Reviews

I love Northwest Christian. I have gone to this school for my entire life, and it has had such a great influence on me as a person. My walk with Christ has only been encouraged since going to this school, and they have done everything in their power to help me grow in my relationship with the Lord. There are so many activities and events that are available to participate in and it is such a fun environment in general.
I enjoyed the theatre department immensely. There were many opportunities for students to help create art together, in the theatre but also the pottery class and the select choirs. I found the AP classes challenging and a few of the teachers truly committed to preparing students for college.
There should be a wider variety of academic options for students who work better with projects than papers and there could be more hands-on classes. While there was good preparation for college, I didn’t feel like there was enough preparation for other life things, such as taxes, checks, and making buisness connections. Every year there is a Career Day that helped begin this process and was enjoyable, but as a senior I needed a little more.

The school is an amazing community of committed teachers and staff who care deeply about each student. We came in new to this community with a high school son and we have been welcomed and supported. I highly recommend NWCS as a Christian educational community that provides an excellent education and experience for students.
