Overall Experience: Teachers do their best to prepare you with what they can. The administrators do their best to get to know the students. Even though the athletics are not the best, they are still supported. There are many extra circular activities and organizations and the teachers who run those are great. The custodial staff is great at keeping the school clean.

Food: I do not get the schools lunch, I have never got a school lunch.

Administration & Policies: The dress code at Northwest is not equally enforced, the guys can wear tank tops but the girls cannot. Students get their phones taken up a lot. Skipping is a big problem, people just do not want to go to class, and as a result are taken out of class and put in in-school-suspension. It often tends to be the same students that get in trouble, so obviously the punishments are not working

Sports & Fitness: The students at Northwest are actively involved in athletics. Our teams are pretty average. The football team thinks that they are great, but they're not, and they do not properly maintain the field and the soccer team gets blamed for it. The sports do have good support from other students.

Teachers: The teacher's are pretty good, they are all very knowledgeable in the area they teach. Some do not have control of the class, and do not form their lessons to help keep students interested. A few teachers have their specific way of teaching and if that does not work for you then you're stuck, but most teachers will accommodate the students needs and will be available outside of class.
