Teachers: The quality of the teachers at this school varies greatly-there are some that work very hard to teach the students and offer fair tests/assignments. However, there are also teachers that provide no lesson plan and offer tests/assignments that are not fair to the student. Most of the good teachers are part of the IB program, and some are in the medical program. The teachers in the traditional program need some serious work.

Extracurriculars: There are a variety of clubs on campus that are involved in the community and participate in competitions. There is HOSA, in which students compete at the national level each year. There is also Interact, in which students volunteer throughout the community regularly. There are also more leisurely, laid-back clubs such as scrapbooking, ping pong, and the creative writing club. Some clubs require a lot of commitment and volunteer hours, while there are others where you can just pay your dues and never have to attend another meeting again. The most popular clubs would have to be HOSA, UNICEF, and National Honor Society. This school also offers a variety of sports-the swim team has recently placed as first in the state and our track/cross country teams have made it to the state competitions as well. There are also other sports, such as soccer, football, lacrosse, and golf.

Educational Outcomes: The courses I took while attending this school were challenging, which definitely prepared me for my college curriculum. I took a lot of dual enrollment courses while attending this school, which made me feel prepared for when I took college courses. I participated in Palm Harbor's "medical magnet" program which exposed me greatly to possible career paths in the medical field. I'm not so sure how well this school prepared me for the "real world" however- the students were extremely clique-y and aloof. If you weren't in their "group" they would act like you didn't exist. Needless to say, I was honestly shocked when I came to college and nearly everyone I met was friendly and sociable, which was a huge change from the snobs I went to high school with.
