Overall Experience: I was only there for the first semester of the 11th grade, but there was very little parent involvement in the school. Most of the kids did drugs or partied with the presence of alcohol, and then would come to school either high on something or drunk. It was really bad.

Overall Experience: I love my school, it is great. If i would have to put my school up against any other school in my state I would, the people in Parkersburg are great, the teachers are great and actually want to know their students, and the administration listens to their students.

Overall Experience: My experience at Parkersburg South High School has been okay. I have met a lot of nice people and have built some relationships that I feel will last a lifetime; however, it is with regret that I feel the school's priorities are a little too out of line.

Overall Experience: I've only attended Parkersburg South High School since the start of my junior year and my first impression on this school was outstanding. The teachers and staff are very friendly and are willing to help you when you need it. The class room sizes vary, but you always learn a lot in your class. This past year, my favorite classes were Human Anatomy and Criminal Justice 101, which was a college course. This school has a great atmosphere and you feel safe while attending here. You can choose from a wide range of classes to take, which is very helpful to students. Overall, Parkersburg South High School is an amazing school to attend if you are looking for a very friendly staff, a variety of classes, and a safe atmosphere to study in.
