Overall Experience: This school is amazing. The administration is very caring and attentive to the needs of the school. The teachers care about their jobs. There is a diversity of classes available at many academic levels. I have two teenagers who attend and they enjoy it immensely. I have not heard one complaint from them about crowded hallways, peer pressure, or bad teachers. Even architectural design and layout of the school is well thought out. It's the best designed high school I've ever seen. The only drawback I can see is that the football stadium is a few miles away at the old high school campus which is now a middle school facility, so they share the stadium. I would choose this school again in a heartbeat for the very reasons I just previously stated. It's a great high school.

Overall Experience: I personally like big schools and the whole atmosphere of school spirit. Parkland had a lot of school spirit if you were with the right group but also many people didn't like getting involved. Peer pressure and popularity was definitely huge in the school. Everyone had their friend group/click. I know everyone says its but it's true, getting involved is honestly the best thing. You don't feel a number/body that just comes and goes to school everyday. The food wasn't horrible but with the whole government trying to enforce healthy a lot of favorites were taken away and kids got mad about that. For the most part I think teachers honestly care about your academic learning and are always there to help. Parkland has everything from applied to AP classes and tutors available. Thats one good thing about a big school is the amount of resources and opportunities is usually greater. They also had a very good selection of elective classes both academic and the arts/consumer sciences. The school also had the latest in technology and computers. Even the community college I am at now does not have some of the technology that parkland did. Also Parkland basically revolves around sports and football. We are one of the best schools in the state for sports and a lot of money goes into sports. I know some of my peers may not say the same, but overall I think most graduates can't complain about how privileged it was at parkland.

Overall Experience: I would definitely choose Parkland High School again because this school has provided me with a lot of opportunities. There are a ton of clubs, sports, classes to get involved in. Also, Parkland gave me and a few friends the opportunity to start up a bible club again that had disappeared a few years ago.

Overall Experience: The best part about this school are the many opportunities that are given to you as a student. There is help everywhere, whether a teacher helps you, guidance counselor, psychologist, etc... All though there are way too many students there it is nice to have the diversity and you learn a lot about other people. This school has helped me in many ways not just with academics but with knowledge moving on to college and real world things that occur everyday.
