Overall Experience: I think the academics aspect of this school is really great. The teachers were very good with students, also. Although, I found the school to not be big enough for the whole student body, leading to crowded hallways. Also, there are a lot of cliques at this school.

Teachers: All of the teachers are really nice to the students. Most of them did a good job teaching. Overall the classes are very vigor. There are different levels of classes for students to choose too, and even more interesting classes.

Extracurriculars: That is one thing both like and hate about my school. There are many clubs, way too many clubs, I can not even thing one to start, and that is the only reason I rate the extracurricular opportunities 4 stars XD. The quality of the club really depends. I tried most of them, the smaller ones is easier to fit in. The larger ones are more fun (the more the merrier). But there are clubs that are unorganized. Most of the club are fun, gives people opportunities, and really builds ones leadership. There are technology related where you can build robots, do science fair. If you are a art person, Parkland has art related clubs too. Sports team, writing, reading, volunteering, or even gaming! I think parkland have way too many opportunities. For example, I really like the engineering club, and I stayed every day after school and even the weekends to work on the robot. The club members go to different places for competitions. I learned the technics and teamwork.

Overall Experience: Many students have complained about Parkland, for whatever personal reasons they may have. Perhaps the size was intimidating, or they didn't make good friendships, most likely. However, I can say confidently that I made a good high school experience for myself by staying out of trouble and making good friendships, and being social with everybody. I enjoyed the athletic events a lot, and will cherish my classes with some of my favorite teachers, such as my junior year English teacher. My biggest regret, and the only reason I would ever want to start over, is to increase my grade point average and immerse myself in classes and clubs a little bit more. I think Parkland is a great school and will continue to be a great school. I am happy, looking back on the years that I have spent there.
