They stole my son's graduation. 12 yrs of school 5 yrs of summer school, stress and burnout with no ceremony to congratulate him for any of it. If your child has an IEP stay away. In the end, they wouldn't let my Autistic son walk at graduation because he was half a credit short due to them being in violation of the signed agreement with a state appointed mediator. He ended up getting his diploma quietly after 2 weeks of summer school. They have 0 empathy and fight EVERY accommodations the whole way. I have never met a more Ableist group Anywhere.
Overall, Paw Paw High School is a pretty good place to be! I’m not involved all that much in sports, but there are multiple different teams available and many different activities on top of that. I personally participate in the performing arts, and the department is really wonderful. If I would change anything about the school it would be to spruce it up a bit, make it look a bit nicer. BUT there is currently an NHS committee working to do just that, so it’s on its way already.
Overall, my experience with Paw Paw Highschool was good. The teachers and staff are mazing and always want to help students succeed in every aspect of life not just academics. I would like to see better lunch food but otherwise the rest of the experience is great.
