Health & Safety: Our health and safety policies are great. Our school nurse is very nurturing and makes sure all students are well taken care of. Our school police are very friendly, but do and will handle business when needed.

Overall Experience: I was against going to Pike my eighth grade year. I was going to do anything to go to another township or private school. I ended up going to Pike and I am glad I had that choice. I absolutely loved my time at Pike High School. It is well rounded. The administration is amazing. I love walking through the hallway to seeing many different groups of people. It's such a diverse environment.

Food: Due to State and National standards, the lunch is okay. I feel as though they try to make the value of lunch as good as possible without crossing certain standards.

Teachers: For the most part, Pike's teaching staff is wonderful. There are a few teachers that could step up. I have been lucky enough to have teachers that genuinely care for us, students. I do not always agree with the teaching styles of some teachers, but that is just something I have learned to cope with. Pike has done a fantastic job of hiring teachers that are very knowledgeable in their specific subject. I am a student that has no problem voicing my opinion, so communication is not an issue. I have witnessed teachers doing what they can to talk with students who are more quiet and to themselves.

Extracurriculars: Pike High School has over 50 clubs to be apart of. Pike gives the opportunity of creating a new club if there is not one that fits the students needs. All the club needs to a sponsor which is usually a teacher. Pike's staff is very understanding and open to helping their students. We have men and women groups that participate in community service and the better of their selves. We also have clubs for specific ethnic groups. They teach and explore more on their culture and others. There are some clubs you have to stay committed to and once you miss the deadline of enrolling you have to wait until the following school year. Most clubs are welcoming to new members at all times. Aside from our sports teams, Key Club and student leadership are our most popular clubs. Administration is very supportive. One of our administrators specifically focuses on extracurricular activities.
